You know what 'spoke' to me?

Remember that when you die, your 'in' box won't be empty.
Work can never be 'finished'. Even on the day I die, there will still be things that I have not accomplished. So never put off for tomorrow... because I still have work to do. My life isn't an emergency. And I will do ONE thing at a time.

Let go of the idea that relaxed, gentle people can't be superachievers.
My, my, my. Guilty as charged. I think I will need to work on this. People succeed despite fear. Not because. Being contented distracts desires and wants. Therefore you focus on goals and I, on clients' needs.

Create "practice patience periods''.
I should start with the roads. When I drive, I'm at my worst. I'm gonna start the day without rushing/weaving in and out of traffic. And stop cursing at those who cut in front of me. Hmm. 
NB: Only for the morning bit for now.

Remember that everything has God's fingerprints on them.
Whether, it's a he, she, or yes, it.  Whether it's the good, the bad, or the ugly. Because things do happen for a reason.

3. Wake up at 8am everyday (Mon - Fri)
4. blog about the books I read.

So I'm sitting on my fave couch on the verandah overlooking the sea, sipping champagne and snacking on caviar, talking to my trusty blog with stars above my head.




No, actually I'm just sitting in the living room sipping yalkult and eating pomelo la.

How I wished. I need my own place. I like spending (quality) time with myself. lalalala. I actually wanted to go on a date with myself today. Plan was to go swimming after the meeting, hit the bookstore, have a cuppa and watch the world go by. Then maybe have a nice dinner and head home. But alas, twist of fate... it actually rained and I ended up sleeping at home past lunchtime so I only manged to accomplish one of the above - visit Borders.

Actually I wanted time away to sort out some thoughts. Lad1 and I think we may have actually found the 'IT' that we've been searching for during the past 4 years. Regardless, I still don't know where to start. Or how. I need to think more. tsk. Else I'd be wasting my time (and life).

Anyway I tried to meditate and i fell asleep.

I wonder why I'm still up at this hour when I'm actually feeling tired.

Bali was wonderful! I loved our villa...the private pool, the HUGE outdoor bathtub (and toilet), the orange room... and the cool boombox! The typical day started waking up next to Gorgeous ;p having breakfast prepared by the 'butler' - and then she will follow up with "what would you like for breakfast tomorrow?" and then lazing by the pool. And getting burnt by the sun. I love the mornings. And usually, we decide what to do for the rest of the day while having breakfast. THIS is my kind of a holiday.

And I'm now officially a surfer chick! kakaka. Think: surfboard, hot bod, golden tan - Me! (in my dreams). No actually, I'm just scarred and bruised. I managed to stand and balance on the surfboard! I miss surfing already. Didn't get enough of it though. We were having so much fun that we almost extended our trip for another 2 days. Only Jean and Z did it eventually.

For the first time in 26 years, I ran for a plane coz we almost missed our flight. After all the trouble of deliberating between 'to extend or not to extend'... it was actually quite an adrenalin rush thinking that I might be extending after all! Oh well, didn't materialize though.We were how cock. Nobody knew what was our actual flight timing. We just assumed someone knew but actually nobody checked.

I think I haven't had this much fun on a holiday in a long while. I mean, I enjoyed all my holidays, but this one - too cool. I like to take things slow.

And for the record, I skinny-dipped twice. Under the stars. In the (very privileged) private pool.
